You may have seen that back in June, we announced our brand-new Tree Planting Initiative, aiming to be a force for good and making a meaningful contribution to the environment on behalf of our valued customers.
This week (21 – 27 September 2024) is the Forestry Stewardship Council’s National Forest Week, and we are delighted to announce that we have already planted more than 100 trees!
So far, the trees we’ve planted have gone towards supporting initiatives including UK reforestation and projects further afield including replenishing mangroves, watersheds and urban forestry, too.
How does the initiative work?
Simply put, for every service-level agreement (SLA) signed or renewed with Cleanroomshop, we commit to planting 10 trees.
We have partnered with a 501(c)(3) non-profit, who have tree planting projects spanning the globe, undertaken in partnership with local communities and environmental organisations to create a positive impact for nature, people and wildlife, and many projects have overlapping objectives that contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Your Contribution
As part of our Tree Planting Initiative, we can offer you the opportunity to choose where your trees are planted and the cause it supports in turn. Once we have set up the tree planting on your behalf, Cleanroomshop will provide you with a certificate acknowledging the impact of your contribution and the cause you have chosen to support.
The certificate can be kept for your records, showing your company’s commitment to environmental sustainability and your partnership with Cleanroomshop. This can also be used as an additional contribution to support your ESG framework, and/or as proof or your sustainability efforts.
