Klercide Sporicidal Active Chlorine is a sterile sodium hypochlorite solution containing a minimum of 0.55% (5500 ppm) available chlorine in-use. It is available in a 1 litre trigger spray or 5 litre ready-to-use. It is 0.2 micron filtered, filled and double bagged in a Grade C (ISO Class 7) cleanroom before gamma irradiation.
Its broad spectrum activity includes troublesome bacterial spores. It possesses fast kill rates so it is especially suitable where high level sporicidal activity is required at short contact times. No additional activators are required.
In line with the material compatibility data found in section 11 of this technical profile, Klercide Sporicidal Active Chlorine is suitable for use on most types of hard surfaces in cleanrooms and controlled environments, isolators, LAFs, equipment exteriors and production vessel exteriors.
Advantages
Very effective, including sporicidal activity - Klercide Sporicidal Active Chlorine has an excellent spectrum of activity, which will control most microbial contamination likely found in a cleanroom environment, including difficult bacterial spores.
Easy to use - The fully adjustable trigger spray allows liquid to be dispensed as either a jet or a spray, which is particularly useful in critical areas. It is also available in a 5 litre capped container or concentrate tablets for a unit dose (Klercide Sporicidal Active Chlorine Unit Dose Concentrate).
Cost effective - All the biocide can be dispensed from the bottle so there is no wastage. Validation of the SDS demonstrates that the contents remain sterile. An in-use shelf life of three months is supported with this data, enabling a long in-use shelf life to be applied by the end user.
Environmentally friendly - The packaging does not contain any propellant so does not require any special disposal procedures. The bottle and the outer packaging are recyclable.
